Community Supported Fisheries

Want delicious, fresh shrimp this winter?

Sign up for a weekly share of wild-caught shrimp harvested by the Midcoast Fishermen’s Cooperative of Port Clyde, Maine!

Shrimp subscriptions will run for 14 weeks
starting on December 12th, 13th and 14th

Half-share: 5 lbs per week; Full share: 10 lbs per week
Shares are of whole shrimp that can be shelled at home.

Full shares are $210, half-shares are $105
Cooked shrimp shares may also be available for an extra $.50 per pound. Ask us for details!

Subscribers need to choose one of the following pick up locations:

1) Rising Tide Natural Foods Cooperative : Pickup on Saturdays from 10:30 to 12pm
15 Coastal Market Dr; Damariscotta, Maine

2) Good Tern Natural Foods Cooperative: Pickup on Saturdays from 1:30 to 3pm
750 Main Street; Rockland, Maine

3) First Universalist Church in Rockland: Pickup on Sundays from 10:30 to 12pm
345 Broadway; Rockland, Maine

4) Belfast Cooperative: Pickup on Sundays from 1:30pm to 3pm
123 High Street; Belfast Maine

5) St. George: Pickup on Fridays from 5:30 to 7pm at the Port Clyde Fresh Catch processing facility
On Marshall Point road in Port Clyde, behind Herring Gut Learning Center

*CSF stands for Community Supported Fishery. It is modeled after the well-known Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) concept. In both CSAs and CSFs, members pay for shares at the beginning of the season and pick up their shares at a specific time and place each week.
